Eye of Beholder I & II AGA relased

Does anyone know if it uses the same game system as the original Amiga version?
I played through EOB1 on Amiga (the spider levels were terrible!), and I would love to continue with the same party in EOB2 AGA.

Also.. Does anyone know of any savegame converter which would allow me to use the same party even in EOB3 on the pc?
I bought the whole collection on pc some years ago.

I get a 404 for the gamefaq pages.. It seems it doesn't allow direct linking, and I can't find the documents using the search function.
