Video/Film Editing on AmigaOne and 4.0
« on: February 23, 2004, 07:57:11 PM »
New to the site and to the Amiga but I have been a fan from a distance for years.  I am a writer/director who is always looking for new ways to deliver the best cinematic expereince for the lowest cost. Up until recently I have been an Apple follower but I ran across the new Amiga web site and got curious. Can anyone lead me to information regarding the new operating system and video/film editing software.  I'm familiar with the Video Toaster/Flyer but I am looking for something updated for the Amiga that would be closer to Final Cut Pro or Avid Axpress (DV capture and export, support for HDTV resolution, support for latest video cards and RAID storage, and well as advanced effects and editing features).

I'm willing to purchase a new AmigaOne and edit a project on it if it is feasible.  would be great for the system and could help me market the distribution.

Thanks.
