I got this system off of videogirls and first thing was to tear it down to see what problems there might be with it. :-?  I replaced the battery, power supply fan, -5V Regulator, and polarized audio capacitors.  I also trimmed the long pins on the motherboard and daughterboard.  The system hard drive was full of bad sectors, so I replaced the drive with a space drive I had and installed workbench 3.1, since it had Kickstart 3.1 in it.  Now I need to get a IDE CDROM drive to put in the 4000 case, so I can install AOS3.9 and the Toaster/Flyer software.  I identified the Flyer card as one of the cards which was recalled for a wrong capacitor (they used a 6V instead of 16V), so I still need to get one of those to replace it with.  I haven't got to use the Toaster or Flyer yet, since I don't have the floppy versions of the software and I have no cd drive in the Amiga.  I must say that overall the system was very clean and well taken care of.  It was listed as an A4000/040, which it was at one time, but I was delighted to see that it actually had a Cyberstorm MkIII 060/50 in it. :-o
