The improvements seem to be many, for example...the "quote" and smileys work here now and I can even logon to bay  ;-)
Havent noticed any big speed improvements compared to IB2.3 yet (running an A4000, Cyberstorm MKIII 060 50mhz, Mediator, Voodoo 3000)

yep, had that error here on my A4000 (os3.9) but after fiddling with some ibrowse settings the error message dissapeared... :-o
