One monitor solution for Vampire
« on: February 21, 2018, 07:04:48 PM »
I posted over at the Apollo forum but want to tease your minds here.

Since I have an lcd with hdmi for the rtg graphics how can I get the rgb to go to same monitor? Right now I have a second monitor, (1084)

Can I use my scart to hdmi convertor that will connect to the amiga video port? That leaves me with a second hdmi out with no way to connect to monitor since it is already being used.

Some sort of hdmi splitter? if so will it auto select the current video out put or is manual?

I plugged the hdmi out from the Vampire into the input Scart/hdmi converter.
The did the Rgb of amiga to the Scart connector.
Finally hdmi out to monitor.
Really funky display that was super unresponsive and hit or miss with switching between display outputs.

I noticed it performed a bit better when the power was disconnected and was drawing it's power from the Amiga/Vampire. Still not useful.

So far now, two monitors again.
