Pronet is a bit more flexible on how you set up shared drives and stuff.
I can't remember exactly, but you might use a differently wired cable from a Parnet one??

Parnet also seemed to have a problem when executing files which were stored on the remote machine, it would often bring up packet error requesters.  There was a patch to stop that which kinda helped.

I have all the Parnet software here if you need it, I often use it when working with old machines.  Not overlay fast, it's about 16k/sec.
Cheaper than ethernet though.

You're right, just checked and Parnet/Pronet do use the same cable.

Sorry, I was thinking of SANA II peer to peer networking who's parallel cable is different.
