you can do it the budget way,

1) simply make a link on the desktop to your c: in the middle of your screen (assume your my computer, network and recycled are on left of screen)

2) select the new icon and the icons on the left you dont want shown.

3) drag them all left until the c: is still showing but the others are off the screen

4) find some windows forum to ask this in.

This really is a budget way of doing it, because if you organise your icons or resize your screen they will come back again. They might even come back after reboot but i havent rebooted this win2k box for nearly a year, so i dont know...
