Hi,

My power supply on my 4000 gave up no bad caps inside, only putting out 3 volts on 12 volt side :(  So I ordered a adapter from Amigakit to use a AXT power supply. How  would you go about making the Amiga power button work with this so it looks correct?
Can the old power supply fixed are they mostly gone by now?
Thanks

The adapter listed below comes with a latch-type switch to make the ATX behave like the original PSU.  It can be fitted into the A4000 so that you can use the original switch, if you are creative.
I did a combination of what Chucky suggests (transferring the guts), and this insured the switch would work the same.  He has a tutorial for doing so on his wordpress site, though it is for an A2000.
