I remember downloading this and it runs inside a browser...???? ActiveX perhaps. You can select all these little pretty desktop themes, that really do nothing for you but look pretty.

You know, has anyone ever used this?

My impressions of it was that it was a fake. Just a pretty front end with nothing but your underlying OS underneath it. Hardly an OS in its own right. I know it sounds bizzare, but could this report be fake? Can anyone substantiate that any of the claims these guys are making are true? I mean, its only their own window manager that sits on top of another OS. Anyone can write one of those. It runs Linux Executables through a windows manager with the same theme. I don't even think it runs its own executables but interprets its own XML presentation language called DML which is like HTML. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole thing is running in a browser and written in javascript.

It doesn't really do anything for anyone does it?
Why would someone want to use this?

I could just as easily write a similar windows manager and make all these outrageous technical claims and you would be none the wiser. You'd be on forums like this trying to figure it out, thinking it was cool, when it does nothing but push some predefined windows around with some basic functionality to make you think its interactive. Give me a break. If it didn't mention Amiga you wouldn't have noticed this at all.

And that Amiga like OS, is merely a graphical theme called Omega. Wow NOT!!!

I could be wrong, in which case, feel free to correct me. However, just consider for a moment if I am right and this whole product is a hoax. How would you know? Its not like you're going to go out and buy it to find out. Even the review is flawed to the point of maintaining its technical obscurity.

@ Doobrey

Errr....I'm pretty sure it is!!! Its almost exactly as they described, unless you're saying it was an earlier version, which it probably is.....but still I'm talking about the same thing.
