If you don't play it by the book, then it's just not going to be good.

Go to the doctor, otherwise you are giving them a reason to suspect you.

I have no idea what this media thing you are trying to do is all about. It's sounds really nutty. You disappeared for two days without telling work (was this before you were suspended?) so it looks really bad for you. So if you wish to keep your job, then go to the doctor, and explain the situation to him, in a non-hysterical manner.

If you've already been fired, then talk to a solicitor instead. Being fired without previous warnings for reporting such behaviour within the company and workplace bullying should be appealing to any solicitor in that field.

But number one - play it legally and by the book. Don't give them cause to find solid evidence justifying their actions against you.

You're an idiot if you play hardball and refuse to go to the doctor or do anything they request. On the other hand you should talk to HR and your union representative (if applicable) about this as well.
