I'm interested to know how you have Radeon.card v2.9?

I got the latest MMCD 2.0 updates, and the Radeon.card version in that is v2.12, also the PCI.library is v9.4. This is confirmed on ELBOX's website - in the downloads section.

I've got an A1200 with a 128MB Radeon card (also got a 256MB card, but not fitted it as yet), and a Mediator TX, but I don't see the additional RAM in my system memory, even though I'm not using all the available RAM on the card.

Anyone else getting the RAM to work / show up in an A1200 Mediator TX setup?

A1200 needs a working MMU for Memory-Hack.
AND it is not official supported (only on Z3 "A3/4k).

My 060 has a MMU so that part of the Mediator configuration/text file is set to YES

I dont know if the new PCI.library supports the A1200.

Ah yes, valid point, BUT I asked that very question of Darek (ELBOX), via the official Mediator support forum, as the newest library with this RAM feature was underway, and he stated that it would support the A1200 Mediator TX boards as they could support the Radeon cards.

However, the lack of mention of the A1200 being supported in the latest release makes me think that ELBOX have not managed to get this feature built into the library as yet. I did initially doubt they could get it to work as the A1200 handles memory differently than the A4000/A3000 as it does not support DMA as such, which is the reason for the DMA hack for the Mediator boards, but I'll be very pleasantly surprised if they do, as I regard this as an added bonus for the A1200 Mediator users.

Alternatively try my hack (posted a while ago).

It is not confirmed, that it works on a A1200 .... good luck.

Which specific hack would that be?

It would be helpful if you could mention it here, while were on the subject, or a link to it would be appreciated, and thanks for your quick response.

I appreciate the update with the link to the thread about adding the Radeon RAM to the System (Fast) RAM. These threads really relate to the A3K and A4K. I am interested in the A1200, and how that is affected by the new PCI library, and Radeon driver.

If you've any new information about how to make the changes in an A1200 with a Mediator TX and Radeon then I'll be interested. I have an A4K also so I'll be checking it all works later in that, but I want to know if it works in the A1200 as well, and if it's likely to be resolved by ELBOX in the near future, but thanks anyway.
