If all you are doing is playing WHDLoad installed games...then you will not miss the lack of an FPU.
Without going through all my WHDLoad games, and the documentation supplied with all the WHDLoad HD installers on the WHDLoad web-page...I cannot remember a game that requires, or runs better, with the addition of an FPU.
The only games that might gain from an FPU are going to be 3D doom-style games (Fears, Breathless etc.) and flight simulators (Falcon, Tornado etc.)
If these type of games are the ones that you play, or plan to play, read through the WHDLoad documentation supplied with the HD Installer, and see if an FPU is required, or enhances elements of the gameplay (i.e. makes it smoother or faster...)
If they do...buy another FPU...if they don't, save your money...
