I agree, it looks like a SCSI-Interface.

Why not? The XT ISA-slot is an 8-bit bus with upto 8 MHz, a SCSI-I bus is also an 8-bit bus with 5 MHz, so the ISA-bus will not be a bottleneck and the SCSI-standard is very old.
