apollo 03 turbo mk2 crystal soldering issue

Hi

I have a apollo turbo 1230 mk2 accelerator card that i have changed the crystal from a 25mhz to a 40 mhz and one of the holes in the pcb board where the crystal goes as solder missing so there is no contact with the board is their any other way of making contact otherwise the machine will crash when using workbench after a period of time any ideas would be gratefull.

Hi

There is nothing there to solder the one of the legs off the crystal to the board thats whats causing the system to crash but just need info as to see if i can solder the leg onto anything alternative just to get a connection.  My blizzard runs fine no problems.

Hi

It did have a 25mhz crystal but when i removed it and soldered the 40mhz into the holes one hole was empty and nothing to solder onto so i assume that's making the card crash. i can play games for a bit and do a system info check no problems.
