Wasn't there something about SAY being taken off some version of the OS at one point? Seems to me that my A4000 w/3.0 didn't have the narrator device so say could not work. I had a program called "Softalk" that did some improvements to the speech process. My daughter started on the Amiga using Talking Animator and thought the speech ability was fantastic! What a fun thing. The book Inside the Amiga has a lot of stuff on the speech ability of the Amiga. I like the part about being able to use the sound of the words to animate a mouth correctly. Wow.
