is GVP alive?
« on: September 13, 2005, 03:34:46 AM »
I was wondering if anybody can tell me if there is anybody working with the GVP name? I have gone to their site a number of times and they had a couple of things I needed and which they claimed they had for sale, but when I wrote them... a number of times... I get nothing, nada, nutin'. So are they maybe really busy and don't need my $, or is this a dead site with an active link for a "mailto" call? I own a lot of GVP hardware but I am lacking a couple of manuals and there's some hardware I'm thinking about, but if they're gone, then I'll just putter around with what I have.

Okay, that's what I figured. Still it would have been nice if somebody had taken the time to take down their website. it gives every sign of being active except for the part about none of the emails being answered. That said, does anyone have a copy of the Spectrum EGS card manual? Assuming there is such a thing it would help me out. There's also a website for Dimensions computers which claims it has Spectrums for sale. I didn't even bother to email there since obviously nobody is selling new Amiga stuff... sigh.
