Lots of Xbox 360's sold in the past because so many of them RRoDed and people bought a 2nd or 3rd system for backup. Take that out of the equation and Xbox 360 sells dead last in this generation console war.

I'm sorry, but care to provide citation for this?

Xbox 360 = 2005 tech rushed to market without proper QA.

The last few revisions of the 360 seem to have ironed out the issues.

I know 8 people total with 360's. Of those, 6 have crapped out and died. The replacements have all been good it seems, except for 1 but the second replacement was something with the cd drive.

The Falcon, Opus and especially the Jasper revision boards pretty much eliminated the issues with earlier boards (named Xenon and Zephyr respectively).

But as far as issues to do with the red ring of death (which was caused by overheating/inadequate cooling) they're pretty much sorted now.
