Having read the link that Karlos supplied it sounds like the G4 models weren't the only ones that had serious design flaws.

Take it to a specialist repair bod and get them to have a look at it, I can't see that you'll really loose much/anything by trying.

Gratz, your GPU is loose - something some models of the ibook are known to be prone to.

Take it to someone who repairs them, it shouldn't cost a huge amount to get it working properly again.
