Even though WHDLOAD makes games more compatible you'll prob still have probs with the 040, better to either sell it and buy and 030 or upgrade it to an 060.
Please explain. I'm running an Apollo'40 in my 1200 that I'm setting up in my livingroom attached to the TV for games. Haven't tried WHDload yet. Getting files onto this unit from the internet is a multi step process.
