Hey.  I bought a Video Toaster 4000 card.  It has no cables on it or software with it.
Greg

You've just opened a pandoras box. ;)

BNC connectors and adapters out to a second monitor for display.
Software minimum is the VT environment v4.1.
Then there's a mass of addons. Software and hardware. The flyer card adds a whole dimension. Limited to ntsc output. Depends on what ya want it all to do.

Someone please tell me where I can get what I need.  I saw that link up above the 1st responder left.  It links to some thing that costs $199.95 and doesn't show me a picture.

The ribbon cable is to link the Flyer card to the VT card. If you don't have a Flyer card, you don't need it.
The web link from Pyromania is for some additional software for the Toaster/Flyer which you don't need either if your going to basic overlays.
If you have a Flyer card in that HighFlyer expansion case, you won't need the Octupus cable either. That cable connects a drive bay to the Flyer.

All you need to get the card operational is the 4.x VT cd and install floppy. If NewTek won't sell you the software, someone might have an extra CD and install disk they might be willing to sell you. Watch ebay, it popps up occasoinally. I suggest also to obtain the proper manual.
