Hi, I have just got a 1438 and it powers up no problem. I always wanted one of these because I believed you could change the res in the prefs and rid yourself of those huge icons using high res.
When I change to any of the others, they all flicker quite bad. Is there something else I have to buy or software I have to use; to use these other modes eg Interlaced etc etc in my Prefs? Otherwise I don't see the point of a multisync over a standard monitor.

I thank yee all for your assistance, I have had a doodle about. But even so, I would very much like Super High Res Laced, it is perfect but it flickers. So to get what I want, I take it I need a flicker fixer? Does it have another more technical type name or do I just search for a Flicker Fixer?
