If its the same one I'm the highest bidder on that at the mo.
Btw, can you still buy bran new monitors dedicated for the Amiga? say in 19inch? without having to buy scan doublers etc.

Amigastuff.co.uk advertise them VGA adaptors but didn't have them in stock. I paid 21 quid by credit card and 2 weeks past and still didn't get it. I complained and he said it must have got lost in the post. He said he would give me a refund, I said I don't want a refund, I want the adaptor. He said there was problems getting them, which begs the question about it being lost in the post. Si I agreed to a refund.
Two weeks later there was no sign of 21 quid in my Online banking account. I complained, he said I had been refinded on the 18th Jan. I had to go to my bank for proof it hadn't been put back in my account. I forwarded this proof to them and he apoligises and said he refunded the wrong person. So it took yet another week for this 21quid to show up.
They are still advertisng them, but can't get them. The mind boggles.

I see a few of those VGA adaptors going through Ebay. I have been bitterly let down with this one which I got off Ebay. When I plugged it in and run the software, I had to take the brightness to its maximum and the contrast aswell and I could only just barely see then. I never bothered complaining although I'd been ripped off. And even if it did work proper it wouldn't let you play your old favourites.

I have seen monitors stating they are Amiga compatible, but I was told that they are only PC monitors anyway and you still need the vga adaptor scan doubler thing. So whats so Amiga compatible about them? What I would like to see is a modern snazzy monitor dedicated to the Amiga that just plugs straight in, and preferably 19 inch at that. I have not seen any!
What would be equally as nice is for someone to come up with a vga adaptor that does *Everything* on your PC monitor, games, and the whole caboodle. Surely there's techies out there that could manage this in this day and age.

BTW What may I ask is a Video Toaster?
Simple as pos please.
