Sam 440 Amiga and Mac networking
« on: August 06, 2011, 06:56:09 PM »
I have both a Dual 1GHZ MDD Mac running 10.5x/MorphOS2.7 and a Mac Mini 1.5 running the same. Both of machines connect wireless to my router in another place in the house. Is it easy to plug in my Sam 440 Flex to either of these machines for internet or would it be easier do it some other way.  Router is upstairs with a PC and some computers are downstairs with no CAT5 ethernet pulled yet.

Thanks,
Jeff

I suppose I probably should just run cat5 through the wall to the downstairs and do it right, but never any time.

Finally got around to trying this and installing AmigaOS 4.1 Update 3. Not only does the internet sharing with the Mac work great, OS 4.1 seems to be WAY FASTER than I remembered it!  It just flies on my Flex, at least compared to the Windows box I usually use.  Thanks for the tips and great update to the OS!
