Roadshow 68k?
« on: February 20, 2008, 12:36:24 PM »
Upon reading through the documentation directory of OS4 Classic I found a README file about Roadshow that lists the system requirements as OS 3.1 and 4 Megs of ram. Is the Roadshow stack included with OS4 68k or PPC? I was just wondering if it really could be run on a classic 3.x machine or if the documentation is old and it's PPC code now. I know it was developed under 3.1 initially.

Since the referenced archive doesn't actually exist and the stack is installed as part of OS4 it would take some work to round up all of the files and transfer them over to an OS3.x machine. I thought I would ask first before trying to find everything manually.

I spoke with the author years ago and Roadshow was to be released for 3.1 at one time as a separate product. I'm sure plans for that were scrapped long ago.
