It should be easy to adapt an Amiga keyboard from another model like an A2000 or A3000 with a simple cable adapter. You could figure this out from the pinouts of each, which are available on the net.
To connect a standard PS2 keyboard would require a hardware adapter as the signals are not compatible.
Finding an original A1000 keyboard in good condition for an affordable price seems to be harder that you might think.
