MakeCD Questions Help Needed
« on: April 01, 2007, 03:33:31 PM »
I have just installed MakeCD on my A4000T and I seem to be having some problems. After starting the program when trying to create data tracks (I wanted a backup of my HD)I keep getting an error message that "triton can't open window. It would be too large even with fallback mode"

I have open triton installed as well as the latest MakeCD on a 3.1 system. What am I missing?

Thanks, Jeff

Well, I tried 640x200 and 640x400 NTSC modes and they didn't work. I guess I could install Picasso 96 and try a larger screenmode if that would help(it has a CV64/SD installed) but I was trying to back up the hard drive before I changed too much on the system.

Is anyone using MakeCD on the standard NTSC screenmodes with 3.1? I suppose I could go back to MasterISO, but I read MakeCD is newer/better.

@Thomas

That was the trick!  Thank you, I never would have figured that out:-D

Looks like I really do need to configure the graphics card once the backup is done and select a larger screenmode. As it is mainly a Toaster system, I hadn't found a need to do so yet.
