Why is postage from Aussie so expensive? AU $51.05 to send the 2mb upgrade to NZ?

Is it Ebay or the local postal service that control the price? I usually buy stuff from Europe, China and US and avoid Aussie because of the cost of postage.

It is weird as NZ is right next door to Australia so I've always been puzzled by the cost.

Thanks for the info, tempted on the 2mb expansion for my Rev6 board but will see how it goes :-)

So the cause of the problem is Aussie post, didn't know the extent of the ebay fees either :-/

Could also list on Amibay, I'm sure the 2mb would be snapped up pretty quick and no fees, even if via Paypal as payer usually accepts the fees.
