Very interesting Stereoscope was brought up as the new TV's next year will be upping their HD to 4k2k standards and they will be called stereoscopic and no more glasses :-)

Philips have a great example of one already although the price entry point is too high.

I remember some old 3d glasses from the 80's which worked very well, just heavy.

I also played/supported some 3d glasses that came with video cards backin the 90's, I'm sure it was Nvidia at the time.

This is a good list, although doesnt appear to be complete to me.
