Are you wanting to sell the faulty 500 plus board? You can take all the chips etc out, just needing the component above the denise chip. Will take a photo and up it a little later.

Although my soldering skills suck ;-)

It's a shame you couldn't get the A500+ boardworking, would you consider sending it to AmigaManiac for repairs? He's in NSW and can repair most Amiga problems. I just think it's a shame that such a good motherboard would go to waste, I have a busted one here which I'm going to send to him too.

Wow thanks Cammy, I also have an A500+ in need of some love. Forgot all about Amiga Maniac, although haven't heard from him in awhile.

Sent him an email about some other stuff but no reply. Might try emailing him again :-)

Lurch, I've started salvaging the mobo for parts, which one exactly do you want?

I'm all sorted djos, thanks though. My 500+ lives, managed to source a board which had little battery damage. Cleaned it up removed the battery and it's working (touch wood).

Going to attempt soldering a replacement battery on and then tackle the 402 mod :-)

Have been watching your thread though as I've been taking a similar path.

$26 USD with free shipping, then just need to find an old laptop power adapter to match. :-)

A shame the Zeus isn't at least a 68010 as from what I've read and witnessed on my a500 the quit key in WHDLoad doesn't work with the 68000... which was why I upgraded to a 68010 :-)

As for Monkey Island 1 and 2 I have that running very nicely with my current setup with WHDLoad :-)

Space quest series is the only one I'm having issues with speed wise.

That's the style I have which are more like the official PICO brand. Works really well :-)

I have Lurch to thank for me finally getting hold of a rev8a replacement board making my 500+ a real 500+ again (when it arrives)

Glad I could help you spend some money ;-) 2MB Chip RAM is the way to go, WHDLoad works great on an A500+

Cant you see the drive activity light on while loading WB1.3?

None of the pictures were loading for some reason. Loading now though. I still don't think the website is 100%

Can you explain to me how I queue up several disks for multi disk games when using the autoboot manager? (I dont mean load 1 disk in df0 and one in df1, that's easy)

EDIT, never mind, I worked out the slot system ... eventually :p

LOL yeah takes a bit to work out the slot thing, I've setup mine to change disk when I remove and put the sd card back in so I don't have to cut anymore holes in my case. Have extended the LCD so will eventually install it on the other side opposite where the floppy drive is :-)

Do you have any more photos of the buttons and the block connection?

Deciding how to go about connecting mine or if I even want to.  :-)
