You using it without denise? You have to have denise installed.
Only the A600 doesnt need denise.

Currently has the denise installed.

So the mouse is not working, even with denise installed?
As far as I remember it needs denise for certain things on everything except the A600.

No as posted works fine with the denise installed.

Anyway I have purchased a standard A500 revision 6A board, just waiting for it to turn up so we'll see how that goes :-)

Don't really have the mouse problem as described in the other thread. Have horizontal thin black lines, the entire screen will flash and the picture wobbles for want of a better word.

The indi can't be pushed much further, all the pins appear to be in and the Denise is flush with the top of the indi, well as far as it can go in.

So looks like a clash between the Amiga 500 plus and the Indivision ECS. So waiting for Jen's and Amigakit to sort out whats happening there.

In the meantime the Rev 6A board I thought I had bought fell through so going to have a nose on ebay/amibay.

Well after a long wait (like most things in Amiga land) I received a 6a board.

Installed the board, the splash screen is still shaky so was worried. However once into workbench it shaked but almost unnoticeable. 99% good on the picture.

1) Don't buy an Indivision ECS from the new batch if your have an Amiga 500 plus/+

2) A non plus Amiga 500 is not going to work with WHDLoad, nowhere near the 1MB available chip RAM to play any games.

3) Still waiting on an Amiga 500 plus fix.

4) The indivision ECS still doesn't give you a 100% good picture. But is a step up from what I had previous with a svideo to vga adapter.

Just got my Indivision ECS from Amigakit and I can see very similar artifacts.  I installed it on a A500 rev8 board, no other extensions.

Would check with Amigakit, it may need another fix done to it if it's a A500plus/Rev8 board. My indi is back with them at the moment hopefully getting the second fix done.

:-)

Woot,  My indi showed up a couple of days ago. Have been testing it hard out and man it's sexy. Crisp, the Amiga has never looked so good.

Chris at Amigakit is amazing, genious give that man a pay raise as he also fixed my accelerator card, rebuilt the pins.

I will be buying more stuff for sure through them.

please explain? I have 1 meg chip, 8meg "fast" and 512k of super fast ram in my Amiga 500?

On the standard A500 I get 1 MB chip RAM, most of the WHDLoad games I try and run wont and state not enough chip RAM to run.

But on the A500 plus it has 2MB chip RAM and I don't get that error and workbench is snappier too :-)

Man need to stop posting on here, should be working LOL

I am so jealous!!!
My A604 and ECS Indi, Dead On Arrival, are returned to Vesalia on 1st september, replaced with working ones "weeks ago" (as mailed me from individual computers) and i'm still waiting for Vesalia shipping me them!!! :furious:

Wow that does suck, hang in there. Mine took two trips and two fixes and a couple of months to get it working right.

Can you get Vesalia to credit you and then buy through Amigakit?

I got a used one on ebay which works well. Sure not a crisp picture as the indi aga mk2 for the 4000d on dvi, but hey it works. The one i ordered from amigakit cam with a broken pin, exchanged that by them sending a new socket after a few messages to and fro. But: the indi ecs from amigakit which seems to have been reworked apparently needs a second rework.... will return it as soon as as i have time.....120 bucks is too much for a product producing artefacts (horizontal short strips) flickering on screen.....

Can't fault the one I have now, had two different fixes applied. First one was meant to fix the artifacts and green/flickering screen but never did. However it was fine on a V6 A500 and my machine is a A500 Plus.

The second fix that Amigakit and Jens came up with was the winner. Really sharp picture, games look amazing too colours are brighter than I've seen on an Amiga before.

Will have to post some pictures :-)

Finally i can update you about my case: yesterday, after 5 months, Vesalia give me back my ECS Indivision and A604! I've not yet tested them, but i'm so happy.... :D

Wow 5 months, one thing I've learnt about the Amiga world is things take time :-(

Go try it out!!! :-D
