Where to source 23-pin Amiga to BNC RGB cable?
« on: July 06, 2016, 06:39:11 PM »
I have just purchased a Sony PVM-14M2U CRT on eBay ( PDF of the Sony manual ) and intend to use it only my Amiga 2000 '020 to replace my recently deceased 1084S. I also plan to use it with a C64 I am going to turn into a PAL machine, shortly.

For the Amiga, I need a 23-pin to three BNC (RGB) leads. I would rather not build it.

Can someone advise? Thanks.

Could I grab something like this

https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=566

and then find an Amiga to VGA cable? Simplest route?

Answering my own question for others that end up here, later.

I did it with two cables: Amiga 23-pin RGB to SCART and then (female) SCART to BNC w/ external sync breakout.

Works perfectly.
