Help me SAM users - ScreenMode issue
« on: August 10, 2009, 08:02:39 PM »
I have setup my SAM440ep-Flex with 128MB Radeon 9250.  1280x1024 is the highest res I see in ScreenModes!  Others are running same with 1920x....  What must I do?

Thanks!

1600x1200 @ 60 is not parenthetically omitted in my icon info... :-(

Crazy -- I can un() 1680x1050@60 and _IT_ will show, but the listed 1600x1200@60 will not show!  WTF?!

I expanded the min/max h and v sync based on my screen's specs ... and the 1600x1200@60 option appeared.  But when I select it and test, my screen will not display it - it jumps to the other input (my OS X box)...

What must I do to get native 1600x1200 on this screen that supports it under OS X?

Thanks...  Argh.  Quite a negative on my first day w/ the SAMantha... :-(

I was able to get it to 1440x1080 by entering those mods in the icon info.  But not native 1600x1200.  I can't stand less than native on an LCD panel!

I wonder if it's a limitation of this 64-bit (128MB) card, made by HIS.  I just ordered a 128-bit (256MB) card, a Diamond Stealth 9250.  We'll see if that can go native.  Hopefully I can return the HIS board.

Add "+RB" at the end of video resolution option:

MODE=1600x1200@60+RB

I'll give it a shot.  What, may I ask, does +RB do, though?

Thanks.

Why?!
