That's a nice bit of software ... can't say if it works or not as I don't have an amiga at the moment :-)
I would like to know if anyone has some performance figures though. Be interesting to see how much of a performance hit there is with mirroring and what the throughput is with striping plus combinations of the above.
And how well does it handle a drive failure in a RAID-1 configuration ? You get a big warning, sirens etc ?
Good move though, if the Amiga wants back into the video world it's going to need this otherwise people will have to fork out for hardware solutions.
Oh yes, forgot to ask about the MorphOS port ? As that's the route I'm off when buying a nexgen Amiga.
