someone made a new 4 or 8Mb inexpensive RAM expansion (CPU mounted).  
also an IDE controller for CF card exists.
not sure if there is bundle version, IDE+RAM.


but A500 is not easily upgradeable, especially CPU, for now.
majsta made some FPGA turbo card for A600, perhaps he can do it for A500 too.

a600 has some advantages, builtin IDE, small case.
it also has that 4/8Mb fast ram expansion, perfect for whdload
