think you should towerize the A1200. iirc, there is no room for standard sized heatsink+fan.
and 040 get very hot.
if you must keep it in original case, one option would be to get new, higher 'rubber feet'.
there are slim fans and double-sided thermal tapes, but it doesn't seem to me like a good long-term solution.
