there is also a problem of fitting it physically. because you'd have to chop off the metal plate that goes below A500. or get bus extender.

so it goes inside A1000?  interesting.
IIRC, I had better luck with alfadata external hdd, than with a590.

maybe because I modified a590 to use internal power (A1000 PSU is weak?) or 'cause of extender.
