SCSI on Apollo 2030 Turbo
« on: June 24, 2006, 12:04:39 PM »
I'm trying to connect SCSI HDD to Apollo 2030 Turbo, but A2000 refuses to boot, black screen only. If I disable SCSI by removing jumper, Amiga boots, but I'd like to use onboard SCSI module. The card has 32Mb RAM and only three jumpers: RAM, SCSI and FPU. I'm using a HDD that worked on Oktagon 2008 nicely. What could be the cause?
BTW, A2000 is rev 6., ROM 3.1

oh well, such is life
thanks, this saves me from a lot of time wasting and losing nerves.

guess I'll have to use Oktagon. (I was hoping to get some speed increase with apollo scsi and simpler system)
