A1200 in an Acrylic Case
« on: February 15, 2005, 05:34:12 PM »
Hi All,

I was browsing around Ebay and came across a cool looking transparent acrylic case.  I've been thinking about buying a new tower for A1200 for a while and suddenly thought that it would look fantastic is one of these (modified backplate of course).

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=51063&item=6743467339&rd=1

I've got PPC w. '040 currently and, with me not being much of a physicist, i'm not sure if it would actually be safe in this case?  Would the CPU get too hot for the plastic on the side?

What do you think?  Any comments/ideas welcome...

Cheers,

Lee

@adonay

I think I'm going to give it a go.  I may just buy this kit and buy a seperate peice to create the back panel.  I'll post here when it's done (probably a little while yet ;) ).

@blakespot
I must say that the C-One tower is superb.  I'm hope by A1200 will look as good.
