Amiga VGA adapter

Ok, I might be able to get one of these little things that were made by commodore that are 23->15pin adapters.

Would it work if I just plugged it into my A500? Thanks.

I do have a nec xv15, but it appears to only go down to 31. Ah well, I'll just continue to use the 1084s. :)
