I just went through the same thing. :-D I ended up buying a 4000/40 on Ebay (was tempted to get a 1200 but this came up first) and I'm just flailing around sites like amiga-hardware.com trying to catch up and having a great deal of fun doing it. The system I have is just as it would have been out of the box which is more fun for me because I can slowly add things to it and see all the things I missed.
A large part of me is kicking myself for being away for SO long. :whack: Sometimes I'm un-smart.
