Hey all, I have an amiga 500 which has 1 mb of ram, and I want to try (for fun, not really for anything in a production environment) doing some 3D work on it.
Also keep a look out for Turbosilver's succesor "Imagine 3D". V6.0 being the last version. Imagine would run on a slightly expanded A500.... verrrry slowly. If you're going to do 3D on a classic machine, you should think about getting a cpu/ram exspansion. My first attempts at 3D back in the early 90's was on a 500 with an 030/25mhz and 4meg of ram and I think a demo of Imagine v2.0 (or was it turbosilver?) Drawing scenes was ok, but click "render" and come back in a couple of hours. A stock 7.14mhz 500 is painful to imagine. pun intended.
