problems with using AHI on Mediator SX
« on: November 28, 2004, 11:50:36 AM »
I am having problems getting my soundcard to work. It's a terratec512 installed in a mediator SX.
My network card is in slot1, voodoo in slot 2 and because of the lack of space, i did put the soundcard in slot 4 instead of 3.
When i type in pciinfo, the sound card get's detected alright. Then i did install AHI (vers. 4,x) and then the sounddriver (SB128)
from the Elbox cd rom that came with the mediator SX. Then i did install AMigaAMp, and this programm shows the error message :
"Can't find AHI.device ! Make sure you are using AHI V4 and that your prefs are set correct"
I then set the prefs:AMigaAmp to Unit 0 and the mp2+mp3 max hz to 4800 (default settings), then
i did set the prefs:AHI on unit 0 to max 4400+4800 hz in both cases the result was the same.
Can someone help me out here ?

Thanks a lot,

Lyrical Benjie
