Poland had quite a big games market for Amiga during the period 1994-1998. Some of them were published in other European countries like "Behind the Iron Gate", but most of them, never had a chance. Which is quite strange, companies like L.K. Avalon and Mirage sold not less than 10.000 copies of each game, and they published at least a dozen every year. Most of them were never sold outside Poland (besides Avalon - few years ago Titan published their games, like Forest Dumb etc.).

The best titles which were setting new limits, AFAIR:

Teenagent - great adventure game, fun, good gfx, interesting plot. Actually, it was the first polish adventure game to be noticed in the world.

"Behind the Iron gate" = first real Wolfenstein 3D alike game working on A500.

"Cytadela" (Citadel) - revolutionary 3D shooter with rendered digitalized speech intro and cool gfx. Unfortunately there was a conflict between the authros and the publisher and I don`t think the game was every released outside Poland, but it should (it`s somewhere on the net).

"Teakwondo Master" = interesting from one point, AGA gfx with digitized actors.

"Franko" - now, that was popular becouse of it`s brutality and gore pouring out of the screen. Typicall Double Dragon alike game.

I think I could count sth about 100 polish games for Amiga.
