The Settlers is out for the Amiga. Why not just play the original?

Because OSS is cool and i dont have an Amiga. It would be good to know if the Settlers worked with OS4 though. Although, it was a 1200 AGA game so maybe it wont! :(

It might work with AROS though, right?

Which brings me to a question, if hardware hitting apps can run on UAE, why dosnt AmigaOS just use those parts of AROS that allow those sort of programs to run? Something to dow ith the licence?

OSS = Open Source Software

I only used Amiga games before i sold the A1200. And maybe a little while after taht with the A500 and CD32.

I think i did have settlers on the PC when i had a job, but there wasnt enough time to play :( like when all i had to do was homework for schoo, which never got done because i was playing the settlers :)

I've seen foundation on the website and it looks awsome. Did they ever release that game for the PC, if not, why? Damn that looked sweet, graphix where on par or better with the original settlers too... Possibly on par with Settlers 2 although they were very similar to Settlers 1.

I wouldnt mind knowning if Foudation was going to be ported to OS4/Morphos or if its going to be continued to be developed. I dont think its goingt o because of something i saw on the site saying something about the last update/version/something.

Ok, than i guess you where able to play ECS games on the A1200? That shows you how much i knew about the Amiga's. I assumed AGA was the chipset after ECS and thus wouldnt have been found in the A1200!?!? And thus would have made those games unplayable?

I know what AROS is but UAE comes with it and they're planning on integrating it into the OS/distro. So i was wondering if it would work when/if UAE is working in it!
