The AmigaDE is a run time environment.
AROS is an Opearting System.
It would kinda be weird running AROS from the AmigaDE. I could see why may you might want to port workbench to the DE but the whole operating sytem?

Because thats like saying why not port AmigaOS or Windows or Linux to the DE. Its just not done.
It would make sence to however, port the DE to AROS! - Not that Amiga Inc would ever do that. But AROS to the DE? I cant see anyone porting a kernel and an operating system to run on top of a virtual one!!!
