I havnt read "this" but i guess your refering to the OpenBeOS FAQ?

In that case, yer your right. This could be a terrific OS when its finished. Parts that are finished and have the exact same functinoality of the old BeOS say they're running even faster then Be Incs peices.

I dont think it would be too hard to get this project ported to the A1. Not hard at all. It would be far more worth while porting it to that, then the A3000!!!

You couldnt describe it as movement, although it certainly is a form of it.

The projects has been flying along at incredible speeds, you can already replace parts of BeOS and have it running the same functionality at sometimes a better speed.

BFS (BeOS File System) has been finished and you can down load this and replace it with the current BFS implimentation from Be Inc.

There are a few others things too i believe have been finished. I would love to have this project on an AmigaOne. I believe the BeOS community could almost call the AmigaOne their home. Or any other POP board for that matter.

And they should, its cheap hardware, easy to get, and with a resonable usergroup that is very close to the BeOS users hearts already useing the boards.

A great match if you ask me,.
