Looking at the pictures I say you are on Thera but looking in your inventory I say that you haven't been on Crete since you don't have important objects.

There are several dig sites in the game. The first one is in the desert. There is a truck which you have to make running. I guess you have been there since you have a hose. Did you make the truck running? If yes, then you are not playing Fists Path. If no, then you are playing Fists Path and it seems to be that you flew into the wrong direction and ended up on the wrong island.

Another dig site is on Crete. It's huge, much bigger than the previous one. There are bull horns, the bridge. Were you here - http://www.mobygames.com/game/amiga/indiana-jones-and-the-fate-of-atlantis/screenshots/gameShotId,282641 (shot 23) or here - http://www.mobygames.com/game/amiga/indiana-jones-and-the-fate-of-atlantis/screenshots/gameShotId,282642/ (shot 24)?

That is indeed Thera, I've not long finished playing through...

Here's what you do (based on your Dialogue of Plato):

Put the sunstone on the spindle, put the setting sun at the top by the horns, push the spindle, open the door WITHOUT removing the sunstone, pick up the statue, close the door and then pick up the sunstone.

I think you are describing a completely different location.

Something like this, at 9:30, but the "Klick" don't happen.

Each round of the game the alignment is different so no one can tell you how to align the stones. You have to try with help of Plato's Dialogues (indeed they give all the necessary clues). Anyhow, there is not so many combination so you can try all of them. Important is that the alignment of the stones is the same throughout the whole game. Meaning that if Sunstone only was aligned in one position, this position has to be aligned during the whole game in a very much the same way. And there are no half positions. Remember also to use the spindle after the alignment.

It would helpful if you could show us screens of you Plato's Dialogue (and stones during the alignment). I think we could figure out the alignment.

In your case, Sunset alignment should be at the top. Moonstone should be aligned so the new moon is also on the top. Unless I'm wrong. But I think Fallenone has the point.
