Broken pins on the mouse port
« on: December 09, 2004, 08:21:30 PM »
Hi!! i have just got a "brand new" A1200. Everything is almost perfect but...broken pins on the mouse port! Pins 1, 4 and 5 are badly broken. Im not good at soldering and that kind of stuff. Just would like to know if its possible to fix this and how to do it!

Cheers!

Actually, they are not even bent but totally cut-off!
Its a revision 1d1 board, guess from the early commodore ones, right?
Is it possible to unattach the port and replace it? I have unplugged everything and checked, but i cant seem a way to take out the mouse port...its like glued or soldered i guess...
