I remember that it required the MMU.  Perhaps it didn't run on an '040?  Has anyone here ran it on an '040/060 or just the '030???

From what I remember, it only works on an 030.

The final version was compiled for the 030, and before CBM could lay off the remainder of the team, they quit.

Development halted right there and never moved again.

But the Amiga may be the only personal computer that ever ran UNIX. (If not, then it ran the most advanced version ever released for a personal computer.)

There is only one UNIX, and Commodore licensed UNIX from AT&T for the purpose of creating a version for the Amiga.

IRC, no one else had ever licenced UNIX for a personal computer.

And the Amiga version was System V.
