Right here (even if I apparently didn't log in for long enough to have my a.org account deleted...). Working fulltime as a so-called "senior developer" (and I got the business cards to prove it, too :), for a very small startup in the public transport informations industry sector. Allegedly, I have been hired as a programmer (or rather, software designer...), but in reality, it turns out I am the only guy in the place who has ever studied EE, so I get to do a lot of hardware development (especially because I tend to come up with 50 cent solutions to what are perceived as 50 dollar problems).

And, in the nature of startups, the hours are long, life is stressful, and everyone's expertise is unique und irreplacable --- which means that while I am very much looking forward to having a break and going to Germany for a month over Christmas (yay!), I should right now get into the make-sure-everything-only-I-know-how-to-fix-just-works mode (i.e. write scripts that automatically start, then monitor and if needed restart, services clients depend upon; That sort of thing), but in reality am completely busy with finishing up prototype development on one project, and get-ready-for-million-dollar-production-run modifications on another.

Add to that my girlfriend and me recently moved into a new place, which has bugger all shelving (and due to us each having a complete independent household before, we have *lots* of stuff, much of it duplicate), with boxes still everywhere....

Life certainly isn't boring. I would love to have more (MUCH more) time to work on non-job-related projects, but alas, not at the moment.
